Our
History
Lloyd
Bros originally began operations in 1946 when brothers David
Lloyd, a Boiler Maker Welder and George Lloyd a Motor Mechanic
joined their Father Andrew Lloyd in his local blacksmith shop
at 43 Kitchener Street, Peterborough,
South Australia.
Initially
Lloyd Bros provided general mechanical and agricultural
engineering services to the local Peterborough and surrounding
communities. In later years the business grew to become the
local Mobil Oil Distributor along with the Sales and Service
Agent for International Truck's.
Upon
the retirement of David and George Lloyd during the early
1980's the business was sold to outside interests but
continued to operate under the Lloyd Bros name for many years
after that.
In
early 2005 the Lloyd Bros name was re-established in Melbourne
by Andrew and David Lloyd the Grandson's of David Lloyd and
Great Grandsons of Andrew Lloyd.
Today Lloyd
Bros provides a broad range of premium home & property
maintenance services to clients across Melbourne.
